Quick Sketches!

Hey guys! Just got a few quick sketches for you today. Unfortunately, the free time that I have to work on personal sketches has been greatly reduced. Most of my "free" sketch time recently has been doodling in class or else trying to calm down when I'm stressed out. As a result, most of my creative sketching has been pretty hectic and anxious in tone as of late.

I really like this one. Needs a lot of cleaning up and some color to really come to life, but I really like something about it. Very like "dark surrealism" in tone. I was really stressed out in class when I drew this one.

Just a quick little sketch. Something nice about it. Nose is pretty off though.

I did this one when I was in a pretty weird mood. Very rough, obviously, but I think it could really be something if I spent some more time working on it. I guess it's kind of about thinking. It's weird how you can think about something/someone all the time and it won't necessarily change or fix anything at all. What does it mean for someone to think about someone else? Thinking is really our primary way of interacting with the world around us, but it's also completely hidden to anyone except for us, or rather, for the individual doing it. Sorry to get all fake philosophical on you guys, but this drawing definitely came out of thoughts like that.

Alright, I'll try to update soon. I have a ton of drawings like these that I need to sort through to see if any of them are good.
