Mostly Moody/Blurry Airplane Shots

Hey guys got some cool airplane photography coming at you today! This is, again from my trip to Ireland last semester. Enjoy.

Abstract window lights

An abstract Pattern that emerged from the intersection of real objects (a window, lights that got reflected off of the glass, some sort of textured wall).

Dark Airport Dreamscape 2

Reflection from the airplane window onto the floor below. Such an oddly paranoid photo.

Light Monster

Blurred lights becoming something new.

Dark Airport Dreamscape 1

Another airport landscape. It sort of reminds me of something I'd draw.

Midnight Airport Blues

I love, love, love this photo. All the random elements (the figure, the reflections, the shadows) come together effortlessly to tell some kinda story.

Airport Surrealism

"Angel in the sky."

Landscape with Airport

Good surrealist hellscape. I love how "lo-fi" pictures like this can take something so familiar like an airport and just make you see it in a totally different way. If we could always see the world for what it really was, we wouldn't be so bored so much of the time.

Sunrise from the Air 1

Sunrise from the air. Powerful photo.

Sunrise from the Air 2

The light's spreading...

Alright hope you enjoyed these, I know that they're a bit different from most of the photography I put up here. I really love this style of photography (grainy, dark, emotional) though, and think it has a lot of untapped potential.

Oh also, Cartoon Dreams now officially has it's own Facebook page if you're into that sort of thing. I'll post on it when I update this blog: https://www.facebook.com/josephsmolinart?pnref=story

Be back soon.
